To be quite honest, nobody. And nobody’s perfect. Does that make me perfect then? No. Far from it, actually. I started this blog as a hobby and it’s remained that way.

My background is in film and I am currently working special education. Neither is really musically related.

I just enjoy music! I have no musical ability in my body but it doesn’t stop me from listening to tons of it and attempting some at karaoke. So no, I am not a music expert but I yes, I would say I am merely an aficionado: a person who likes, knows about, and appreciates a usually fervently pursued interest.

So thanks for listening to my eclectic taste in music and pretty much anything is cool with me if I “like” it. I know that doesn’t really describe anything specific but it’s what I base my music taste on. After all, my vocab to truly describe music is about equivalent Adam Richman’s vocab for describing food on Man Vs. Food: limited but passionate.

P.S. The concert reviews are something new I’m trying out. I have seen nearly 120 artists live in the past 5-6 years. In that time, I have seen some really good shows and some really bad not-so-good shows. I figured I may as well let you all know who I think is worth seeing live.

Also! I want some reviews to be user based as well. In other words, if you have seen a concert/show and want to review it online, I’ll be happy to post it here.
