When I was younger, my dad encouraged me to see a concert with him. The headliner was Steppenwolf with Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult opening. I hated it and didn’t even make it to the second band. I think I was just too young and it put me off to concerts for a very long time.

Then one night in college I randomly decided to go see Godsmack. I didn’t have much of a reason other than it seemed like a good idea. And it was. I was blown away! The spectacle and the music all combined were fantastic. Since then, in the past half decade or so, I’ve become a bit addicted to live music.
