Journey – Don’t Stop Believing 2010 (DJ Megaman & Panic City remix)
So I was in a club last night and amongst all the hard hitting bass, hip hop, and dance beats, the DJ put on Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” I had never realized just how appropriate it really was for a club. The natural build of the song and the nostalgic value that many have placed on it lend it perfectly to create that euphoric moment on the floor when everyone is feeling the song. However, it does at times need something a little extra and that’s exactly what Megaman and Panic City have done. They kept the integrity of Journey but added just enough to transition well between other songs and add the slightest of depth. When listening to this song by itself, I could do without the intro portion but I understand that it is there for a smooth transition when used in a DJ set. O, yeah, and as for Fatman Scoop… Well, I can never get enough Fatman Scoop. This track is the all time top seller on crack4djs.net and I can easily understand why.
